Özcan Vardar (Mathematics '06) was awarded the "Best Editing" award at the Antalya Altın Portakal Film Festival.

Özcan Vardar, who graduated from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics with a bachelor's degree in 2006, was awarded the "Best Editing" award at the 59th Antalya Altın Portakal Film Festival for the film "Kurak Günler", of which he was the editor-in-chief. The film was also deemed worthy of other awards by the jury which were "Best Actor", "Best Director", "Best Supporting Actor", "Best Music", "Best Editing", including "Best Cinematography”, “Cahide Sonku Award”, “SİYAD Best Film” and “Film-Yön Best Director” awards.
