  • Where can I get  my alumni card?

The alumni card is given by the "Boğaziçi University Student Affairs Branch Directorate" to graduates who have completed one of our university's undergraduate, master's, or doctoral programs by making a request through the Alumni Information System(Mezun Bilgi Sistemi).

  • I lost my alumni card. What should I do?

To get  a replacement for your lost alumni card, you can deposit 100 TL into the specified account (Please write your name and surname along with "graduate ID fee" in the explanation section of the bank receipt) and email the payment receipt to mezunkart@bogazici.edu.tr. Upon doing so, your card will be prepared, and you will receive an email notification.

  • Which facilities can I access with the Alumni Card?

  • How can I apply for graduation? How can I attend the graduation ceremony?

  • I lost my diploma. How can I get a duplicate diploma?

In case of losing a diploma obtained from our university, the procedures to be applied are outlined in the University Board of Directors decision below:

a) If you submit an application to the University Rectorate with a police-issued loss report, a copy of your ID card, and a newspaper announcement cutout published for three consecutive days (if the diploma number is unknown, it can be obtained by calling 0212 359 4408), along with a petition containing the diploma number and graduation year details;

b) A newly prepared diploma will be issued with "Second Copy" written on it, the reason for reissuance written on the back, and with the signatures of the Rector and Dean/Director at the date of reissue.

  • I lost my diploma; how can I get a letter confirming my graduation?

A letter confirming graduation can be provided not only to those who have lost their diplomas but also to any graduate upon request. When making a request, specify whether the document should be in Turkish or English.

Requests can be made in two ways:

  • By filling out the "Document Request Form" at the Registration Affairs Branch Directorate counter with a 20 TL bank receipt.
  • By sending an email to registr@bogazici.edu.tr (the 20 TL receipt must be presented when collecting the document).

The documents can be collected at the earliest two business days later.

  • How can I get a letter confirming my graduation?

  • How can I get a transcript?

Details about obtaining a transcript can be found on this website.

If your graduation date is before July 7, 1995, you can fill out the "Transcript Request Form" at the Registration Affairs Branch Directorate counter with a 20 TL bank receipt for each Official Transcript or Student Copy Transcript.

For graduates after July 7, 1995, requests can be made at Garanti Bank or Akbank branches by entering the student number for University payments.

The documents can be collected at the earliest two business days later.

  • How can I get certified copies of my high school diploma and documents?

To obtain certified copies of documents in your file (such as the diploma, ÖSYM score card, etc.), you need to pay 15 TL per document. Fill out the "Document Request Form" along with the receipt and submit it to the Registration Affairs Branch Directorate counter.

For those who graduated or left before July 1, 2013, the files are kept in the Archive at the North Campus. Requests are collected from Monday to Thursday and prepared on the following Friday afternoon at the earliest.

  • How can I get information about applying for Master's and Doctoral programs?

The application dates for postgraduate programs are announced every year in the Academic Calendar.

For the fall semester, applications are generally accepted in April, and for the spring semester, applications are accepted in the second week of December.

  • How can I obtain the English version of my diploma?

Existing diplomas include both Turkish and English texts.

Retrospective issuance of a diploma is not possible, but if requested, an official English letter regarding graduation can be prepared. (Article 2)

  • How can I financially support students as an alumni?

You can contribute in any way you desire through BÜVAK and BUVAKIF
