The 18th Ordinary General Assembly of the Boğaziçi University Alumni Association (BURA) was held on October 12, 2025, at Boğaziçi University. The General Assembly was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, Boğaziçi University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Naci İnci, BURA Chairman Fehim Paluluoğlu, academics, alumni, and students.

The Innovative and Entrepreneurial Leaders Program Series brings together globally experienced leaders in entrepreneurship and transformation-oriented leadership with students. The first guest of the program, Steven Kinvi, Director of Techstars EMEA, shared his insights on the entrepreneurial ecosystem and scalable growth strategies with Boğaziçi University students.

Century-Long Memory of Kandilli Observatory Is Digitized
A hackathon focusing on the 115 years of recently digitized climate graphs from the Meteorology Laboratory Climatology Station of the Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute (KOERI) was held on March 6–7, hosted by the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University.

In a significant achievement, Boğaziçi University has been ranked 90th in the recently released Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025 by Times Higher Education (THE), a prestigious London-based higher education ranking organization. This inaugural ranking is produced in collaboration with Schmidt Science Fellows, a distinguished research community dedicated to advancing postgraduate studies.
