Boğaziçi University Class of 1976 Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary

Graduates of Boğaziçi University's Class of 1976 celebrated the 50th anniversary of their graduation at Albert Long Hall on the South Campus.

On May 22, 2026, Boğaziçi University welcomed its 1976 graduates back to campus. Organized by the Alumni Office, the 50th Anniversary Reunion brought together many alumni to reconnect and celebrate this significant milestone.

During the event, Prof. Güven Alpay delivered the opening remarks, sharing memories from his years at Boğaziçi University and recalling experiences that have remained unforgettable over the years. Following his speech, other alumni also took the floor, fondly sharing their memories and reflections.

Recreating the atmosphere of their graduation ceremony, alumni donned their caps and gowns and received their 50th Anniversary Certificates. The event concluded with a performance by the Music Club Jazz Choir.
